A Gestational Surrogacy arrangement is one in which the Intended Parent(s) obtain the services of a Gestational Carrier (also referred to as a Gestational Surrogate) to carry and give birth to their child through an IVF transfer procedure. The embryo that is transferred to the gestational carrier's uterus is created from the sperm of the Intended Father or Sperm Donor and the ova of the Intended Mother of Ovum Donor.
Intended Parents and Surrogates carefully choose one another to ensure that they are compatible in values and expectations regarding the entire pregnancy and birth experience. Surrogates and Intended Parents should be represented by separate counsel.
I am here to help guide the way.
